Spring Flower Show in Boston

This post is already long overdue but is still worth sharing about. I would like to share this especially to all green thumbs and plants enthusiasts out there like myself.

We braved the stormy weather last weekend to see a flower show in Bayside Expo in Boston. I particularly love to get an idea on how to start a flower box vegetable garden and see new flowering indoor plants for my garden window. It was my first time to see the event and oh boy was I overwhelmed with the huge display of captivating exhibits of all kinds of plants and flowers. They were so breathtakingly beautiful and very calming to the sight. I felt like I was re-living my experience of the Butchart Garden in Victoria, British Columbia in Canada. New England has definitely the most talented gardeners, designers and horticulturists.

This gives me idea on what plants go together in plant boxes.
In the show they even have backyard vegetable garden with
Sand Box and Train Tracks on the side. Probably to keep your kids busy
while tending to your garden, what a clever idea.

Here are samples of potted plants for the front entry way or indoor.
I've got a few indoor plants in my garden window and some all over the house.

I love bonsai and I had a few that my husband bought me.
But sadly they were infested with insects and died.
He bought me another one from the show.

This is a sample of flowers and greens combination.
They are really breathtaking, I wish I can maintain one.
