Cramming For FIL's Visit

Oh my god, I only have a day left to make the house spic and span before my FIL arrives from UK. We planned to do a lot of things in the house over the weekend, but none of them came through our busy weekend schedules. Weekends are family time together after a week's long hard work. We're out most of Saturday eating out, food shopping, and strolling. At night we attended the anticipated mass. Sunday, we had get-together with friends for our 3rd Dinner Club meet. So I practically spent half of the day cooking for potluck dishes I pledged to bring. We came home past Mikey's bedtime very tired.

Today I need to flip the house again to get things done. I'm used to doing this, the more I cram the more work I can do and I'm good at it. Well, hopefully my magic wont fail me now, my body is very exhausted from the weekend's activities, not to mention not having recovered yet from the previous late nights. I still have to attend to Mikey's usual Library schedule this morning before I can even start anything.

We're all excited to see my FIL, it's his first time to see his grandson and every time he calls he always asks about him. I will be busy cooking hot meals everyday again, and be busy taking him out where he wants to go. I want to make the most of the two weeks he'll be here. Oh did I mention that he's already 82 years old? So hopefully I can visit all my blogger friends tonight before I get lost in my busy schedules, LOL.
