Improve Your Vision

I was privileged to have received a pair of pinhole eyeglasses in the mail. Pinhole glasses are very lightweight with perforated plastic lenses inset into standard metal or plastic spectacle frames. They are the modern and affordable alternative to prescription eyeglasses because apparently they will improve vision clarity and resolution and increase object brightness for sufferers of refractive error eye disorders. I suffer from far-sightedness and wear +1.75 prescription glasses. I was actually intrigued and skeptical more than anything at how pinhole glasses will work for me so I wanted to try them.

When I used the pinhole eyeglasses for the first time to read a book, I was amazed at how I was able to see the letters clearly which I would not normally see at all if I was not wearing my prescription eyeglasses, so they really worked. But I must admit that they were a little uncomfortable to wear at first and it took like a week to get used to wearing them. However, I was hoping I could use the pinhole glasses while working online but it just didn't work for me. I didn't see very well, I was actually seeing double.

If you suffer from myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness), presbyopia, astigmatism, computer vision syndrome or cataracts, you need pinhole glasses. You will experience better clarity and resolution of vision when wearing them, provided you have no impairment or degeneration of your retina. Pinhole eyeglasses are very affordable and you don't need to replace them regularly even if your prescription changes.
