Monday Madness

Monday is always hectic for me, it is the day where I do most of my chores in the house. As much as I can avoid it, I don't get appointments on Mondays, so I wont need to get out of the house. If you're a mom of a tot like I am and a boy at that, you should know how fast they can get the house in disarray. And with the 'big boy' not working on weekends, he helps in the clutter as well ;-). Anyway, I've been multi-tasking since this morning, loading laundry in the washer, folding the clothes right after drying, and putting them away in the closets. I've cleaned and vacuumed the kitchen and family room, put away all the toys in the bins, and cleared all the kitchen counters with clutter. While I was doing the chores, Mikey is of course around me wanting to get his hands in everything I do. But he was behaved as the Baby Einstein dvd is on, he comes and goes, peeks and touches. I still have to change all the beddings and load them in the washer. And then when Mikey wakes up, I will take him for a walk around the neighborhood. Oh well, mothering and housekeeping are a never a ending job. He is awake now, I have to change him, feed him and take him for a walk.
