Stormy New England

I couldn't believe I was still out driving yesterday in the middle of a storm, the stage mother in me. I knew about the storm watch but I just didn't want to miss a playdate that I RSVPed Yes for Mikey. It was KinderMusic, a play and music activity with other moms and little ones in my 'Moms and Little Ones' group. Anyway, after the event, I knew it was gonna pour down rain, the cloud was really dark and the wind was blowing relentlessly. I didn't even got the chance to talk much to my girlfriend moms. Then the strong rain began to pour down, it was almost zero visibility and the wind was blowing like it was trying to lift my car up in the air, it was frightening. But I just drove slow but sure until I reached home. Then when I checked the news on TV, there was a town in NH that was badly hit by a tornado. Would you believe, few days back there was a tornado watch too in MA? Wow, I didn't know we get tornado too in the east coast. Anyway, I'm just glad that the storm finally settled and today we have a very nice sunny day.
