Weekend in Boston

The daily grind of office work and household chores can be very tiresome so we escape once in a while to Boston for some impromptu sight seeing trips. There are so many things to do in Boston, being the state rich in history you will expect to see a lot of museums and tours to historical spots like the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. JFK Library and Museum is one of our favorite places to visit because right there in the recreated world of JFK, we can experience first-hand, his life, legacy and leadership. In our last visit to Boston, we took the Old Town Trolley Tours, an exciting one hour and 45 minute fully narrated tour of Boston which covered over 100 points of interests. Plus we got the 'hop on/hop off' privileges at any 17 designated stops, meaning re-boarding is free all day. We got to see the Boston Freedom Trail, New England Aquarium, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, USS Constitution, MIT, Old State House Museum and a lot more! We really got the value for every dollar we spent on this tour. We also went to Boston Museum of Fine Arts, which is considered one of the world's great art museums and one of the country's oldest. Boston MFA has the the stellar collection of early American paintings and decorative arts. The highlight of our Boston escapade was the Spirit of Boston Lunch Cruise where we had the most entertaining two hour lunchtime experience.
