A Dog Registered To Vote

Here's one odd news. Just to protest a loophole in the laws that anybody can just register to vote, a woman from Federal Way, WA has registered her Australian shepherd-terrier mix dog to vote, to prove her point. She says that the voter registration is so easy a non-existent person could be added to the voter rolls. She made no secret of what she did though telling elected officials that she registered her dog. But just the same she was charged with making false statement and was slapped with community service and had also spent $240 in court expenses. Well I know in the Philippines even dead people are still registered to vote and some actually 'voted' in an election, so what's the difference with a dog ;-). Well the dog here didn't get the chance to vote, too bad.
