House Projects

I know we haven't been anywhere this summer yet, but I'm glad just the same because hb has been doing a lot of house projects lately. Finally, my garage door opener is fixed, just in time for the cold weather again. For the past months the garage door is hassling me especially when I'm in a hurry for an appointment. I have to back up the car, get off, get in the garage to shut the garage door, get out and back to the car. Imagine doing that on a cold snowy winter. Also like I mentioned in a post I wrote early this month, the 18 foot awning that we bought over four years ago had finally made its debut on the wall in our patio. All the while I thought we just wasted almost $2,000 for an awning that will never be used. I was so worried that it might not work anymore having been stalled in the basement for that long. Also, hb bought cans of paint to change the color of Mikey's room. When hb procrastinates he will never ever lift a finger despite repeated requests to my aggravation being a 'very' organized person as I am. But when he's on fire he wants to do things all at the same time. I just hope the other projects he's planning to do will be done sooner.
