Does anybody know why every time I add one of my blogs to the Blog List I always get an error? I have a scrap blog called Scrappy Mommy. Whenever I add this blog to the list even if I type the site's correct url it always gives me an error link, pls look at the left sidebar under 'Blog Updates". Then when you click on the link, it will give an error message "invalid content type: feeds.feedburner.com". I will greatly appreciate it if somebody can teach me how to fix this problem ;-). Thanks in advance!

Hi Mira.
ReplyDeleteThis happened to me when the feed of the site wasn´t working properly. Have you checked if your feed is working ok?
Try updating settings, go to the feed screen, change it to "complete" or other, save, and then change it back.
If this doesn´t work you can also create another feed (more complicated) or simply add a link widget instead of blogroll. I have one in Mycountryhome for one site that doesn´t have feed.
Hope it helps.
I´m having problems with my PC. Firefox doesn´t run and making drops with IE from my inbox takes forever.
Well, now that I messed my Pc I still have hubby´s, lol.
A good Tuesday. xx
Mira,
ReplyDeleteAs I see it....
1. The link you have given Scrappy Mommy right here at your Post is AOK. (but there is not where the problem that you relate lies. i was just testing out the Scappy Mommy URL link)
2. The feedburner link has an error. That is the one that you're relating to at your Blog Updates at the left sidebar.
Methinks, that you have entered an error in the configuration of your Feedburner account for Scrappy Mommy because the error message (Invalid content type: feeds.feedburner.com) suggests that.
Go back to your Feedburner account for Scrappy Mommy and check the validity of the URL that you have pointed Feedburner to for Scrappy Mommy.
