Everyday, I hear news of layoffs and outsourcing of jobs overseas. It is very sad that some people close to me have been laid-off or are just counting their days at work. Unemployment rate in US is skyrocketing. I wonder what the new year will bring for everybody. I'm sure a lot of people will be displaced but if you browse online for jobs, there seems to be a lot available like Manhattan jobs. I just wish that there will be jobs waiting for people who lost their jobs this year, so they can start the new year in good spirit.
