One Romantic Night

When my husband proposed seven years ago, that was one of the most exciting moments of my life. His proposal was nothing like you see in the movies. It was very simple but nevertheless swept me off my feet. I was here on vacation, he snatched me from my aunt's house and took me to the jewelry store then asked me to choose from the gorgeous engagement rings in the display glass. I was in awe I couldn't decide which one to choose. It was overwhelming. Then I finally settled on a 1 ct three princess cut diamond platinum engagement ring, it was really lovely. He formally asked me to marry him in his car in the parking lot, how romantic. Afterward, there was a surprise engagement dinner at hb's friend's house waiting for us and he did the proposal all over again in front of his friends, that was funny.

  3. How sweet! I can only imagine your feeling. I have not experienced being proposed to though. We just found ourselves planning and saving for our wedding without passing through the proposal stage. He he. Really corny!

    Have a great weekend!

  5. That is a sweet ring! Proposed to twice (or 3x if you count the occasion in the store) in one night--that's even sweeter! Beautiful story. :)
