Boating and Alcohol Certainly Don't Mix

Summer will be here in no time and a lot of people will go out boating again. When boating, some people would go overboard for the sake of fun, not wary about the danger they are putting themselves into much less to other people. Some boaters irresponsibly mix drinking and boating, and that spells danger. News have told that a lot of people get hurt or worse die while boating intoxicated.

Every year in Arizona alcohol is directly related to fatal boating accidents, actually most fatal boating accidents there is alcohol related. It just goes to show that Boating and Alcohol Don't Mix. So to make sure that people are safe, there is boating law enforcement saturation patrol on the water all the time to save lives. There are OUI checkpoints on Arizona lakes and rivers during busiest boating months which are March to September to make sure there are no intoxicated boaters operating boats. If you are waved over by an officer during a saturation patrol or you enter an OUI checkpoint area while boating in Arizona's waterway this summer, you shouldn't worry if your boat operator is sober as you will be allowed to get through right away. The boat's driver will always be checked to make sure they will not put their lives and the other's at risk. So this way, everybody will enjoy summer as it should be. Let's all have clean and safe boating fun.
