I apologize for not posting updates here lately. We were out-of-town for two weekends in a row. Though we have internet access in the hotel where we stayed at, I opted to just limit my online activities to enjoy my vacation more.
So where have we been you might ask? Our little tot celebrated his 3rd birthday last week and in lieu of a birthday party, we decided to have family weekend get-aways to New Hampshire and Maine instead. We enjoyed some quality time together and we visited a lot of new places.
The highlight of our weekend in NH was the hike of Mt. Washington via the Cog Railway. It was an awesome and exhilarating experience especially to the birthday boy who is obsessed of choo-choo trains. Then the past weekend we drove to Bar Harbor in Maine. The view of the harbor was breathtaking. It's bad that hb was nursing a swollen left foot so we didn't go too far. But he was able to walk far enough to experience the main attraction of the city, the Acadia National Park.
