Angels in My Flights (Part 3)

I already got back from our 2-month vacation but I haven't posted the last part of our experience on the plane when we flew to the Philippines. Before I post some updates here, allow me to share the last part of Angels in My Flights. Here it goes.
* * *
My son was all charged up. He slept for 6 hours in the flight. When we reached Tokyo, he was so energized. When we vacated the plane, at the end of the jet, I saw a green stroller right before my eyes. I was very happy, this meant it would be an easy walk from the plane to the next security check and next gate. But I was wrong. The stroller meant another load to take since my son was not willing to sit in it. He was screaming and wiggling his way out. But there were several escalators to take and a long walk till the next point. And the next angels in my flight were a Filipino couple who helped me with some of my loads so I can keep up with my son. They even agreed to keep an eye on my stuffs while I searched through stores for some jeans or jackets to buy. God was with me all throughout my flight, sending me angels when I needed help. It was a long, eventful and exhausting flight, but nevertheless made easier with the help of strangers who were my angels.

Angels were all around you. And your original angel was with you on your flight back to U.S., your hb. What a relief for you, huh!

i can relate to u on these 3 postings here for i was once traveled with an 11-month baby earlier this year too. ang hirap kasi ikaw lang mg-isa tapos may mga pasanin pang bagahi, ang angel ko noon ay isang pinay, katulad mo tinulungan din nya ako sa mga carry-ons ko.

in our flight from DFW-HK whole 13 hours walang tulogan si ako kasi baby ko ayaw matulog although she was smiling, happy and playing the whole time but still it was very exhausting. sa flight ko nmn from HK-CEBU, natulog na nga cya sa basinnet pero pg may turbulence stupid crews ipakukuha naman ang baby so nadisturbo ulit cya at gumising! grabi ang experience kung may baby at ikaw lng mag-isa bumyahi!

Hi Mira! Thank you for sharing your flight experience. Like Anne, I can also relate to you so well. We also went to the Philippines last April-May, and I brought Daniel with me, he was only 13 months then, and I was I think 7-8 weeks pregnant already....that was....minus Dana. It was so hard but...it was all worth it when we finally landed in Manila and in Pangasinan and reunited again with my family.

Debbie :)
